West Wicklow Pool

The Community Pool for West Wicklow Committee are looking forward to meeting with Wicklow County Council Chief Executive, Frank Curran, along with the five Wicklow TDs, Deputy Jennifer Whitmore, Minister Simon Harris, Deputy John Brady, Deputy Steven Matthews and Minister Stephen Donnelly, before the end of the month.

The purpose of this meeting will be to discuss ways in which the Pool Campaign, Wicklow County Council and the TDs can work together to progress the development of this much needed swimming pool in West Wicklow. Possible funding streams will also be discussed and it is hoped that by “pooling” our resources that any future funding applications will strongly demonstrate the merits and necessity of the development of a swimming pool for the West Wicklow Community.
