The United Nations have declared July 25th World Drowning Prevention Day and we have gone blue to support this important day!
On average 115 people have lost their lives to drowning every year for the last 10 years in Ireland. This number is falling thanks to the important work carried out by our friends at Water Safety Ireland. Visit their website

By having access to local swimming facilities and ensuring that everyone young and old, of all abilities has the opportunity to learn how to swim we can help save lives and make sure that our West Wicklow Community is more Water Safety Aware.
