Community Campaign to bring a swimming pool to West Wicklow
Wicklow County Council Chief Executive, Frank Curran, has confirmed that he and Wicklow County Council are fully committed to working together with the West Wicklow community to ensure the development of a Pool for West Wicklow.
This welcome commitment was made during a conversation between Mr Curran and members of the Community Pool for West Wicklow Committee on Monday June 28th. Other topics that were discussed included possible funding streams for the swimming pool, water safety and ways in which Wicklow County Council, the Community Pool for West Wicklow Committee and elected representatives can work together to ensure the delivery of this much needed amenity in West Wicklow.
A further meeting between Mr Curran, the Community Pool for West Wicklow Committee and the five Wicklow TDs will take place in the coming weeks.
