Community Campaign to bring a swimming pool to West Wicklow
The Wicklow County Development Plan is open for a period of Public Consultation on the Proposed Amendments at the moment!
We are delighted to see the PRIORITISATION of the development of a community swimming pool facility & sports complex in West Wicklow included in the proposed amendments.
We are also very happy to see the inclusion of a paragraph recognising the importance of swimming and a commitment to support the expansion & improvement of indoor & outdoor swimming facilities in the county.
These amendments have been included thanks to the hard work & support of every West Wicklow resident who made a submission during the summer of 2021 when we ran our information campaign about the Wicklow County Development Plan. THANK YOU!
